The Senate Committee on Rules and Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn made their selections for the final remaining seats on Virginia’s new cannabis oversight boards. Now that both the Governor and the legislature announced their picks, the General Assembly must now vote to confirm all of the appointees.
The 5-member Board of Directors of the Virginia Cannabis Control Authority, appointed by the Governor, will oversee the activities of the bodies and will be the ultimate authority when determining regulations and license application requirements.
